Dan Trocquet

Daniel Trocquet played four years of basketball at Cypress Creek High School before continuing his education at the University of North Texas, where he earned a degree in Kinesiology. His passion for athletics and education led him into coaching, where he has spent nearly two decades developing student-athletes and building successful basketball programs at the highest level of Texas high school basketball.
Daniel currently serves as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Tomball High School. Over the last 19 years, he has coached at the 6A level in Texas and has led his teams to four district championships and three regional tournament appearances. His success and leadership have earned him Coach of the Year honors on three separate occasions.
In addition to his work on the court, Daniel serves as President of the Houston Area Basketball Coaches Association, helping support and grow the game throughout one of the nation's premier basketball communities. He is passionate about developing well-rounded student-athletes, teaching life lessons through sport, and creating opportunities for young players to reach their full potential both on and off the court.
Daniel and his lovely wife, Amy, have been married for 16 years and live in the Houston area with their two wonderful daughters, Riley (9) and Charlotte (6).
